Jon made a custom table for our new Optometry office. I had an idea and he made it out of wood! His attention to detail, his awareness of proportion, and his craftsmanship were all excellent. From paper drawings to a scale model, to the final product the process was seamless. We love our table and have many compliments on it! Thanks Jon for making my idea a reality!!

We had a fantastic experience working with Jon and his team. His attention to detail and flawless builds were beyond exceptional.  He was a great communicator, worked within our budget and space perfectly and delivered and installed our cabinetry and bench immaculately. I can’t recommend Tupelo Furniture and Design enough. We will definitely use them again for other pieces in our home. Thank you Jon!

Working with you was incredible. I had a design in mind and you knew exactly what I wanted. I was so thankful for the 3-D visual that you sent as well, allowing me to make sure we were on the same page.  I am very pleased with the quality of the final product and show it off to everyone who comes over.

Make sure you have an open schedule over the next few months because I will be making more orders!

Thanks again, I love it!

The house we asked Tupelo to look at was about 25 years old and needed some updating.

Jess went through the whole place and made a detailed, room-by-room listing for us, keeping our budget in mind. That list proved to be very valuable in guiding us along during the transformation of the house. We found Jess to be very knowledgeable and extremely efficient. She is also practical, and knows how to work within a budget and on schedule.

We asked Tupelo to modernize the kitchen and bathrooms, and Jon did a fantastic job on those! With all the door hardware replaced throughout the house, fresh paint from top to bottom, a new, modern, custom-made kitchen, and custom vanities in the bathroom, the house now looks amazing and up to date.

We especially liked the attention to detail that both Jon and Jess paid to this project, as well as their patience and accessibility toward their client.

It was wonderful to work with them both!

Jon recently built and installed a custom made 17′ x 4′ barnboard table for our office lunchroom. Jon worked closely with our Interior Designer in planning the table, and its layout and construction details. Jon built the table offsite, and assembled the table in place in our office after hours, with no disruption to our staff.

Jon completed this project on time and on budget and coordinated the measurement and installation of the glass tabletop with an independent glass company. He was extremely focused on supplying a high-end product that fit within our specific space requirements, and within our budget.

At all times Jon was punctual, respectful and professional. We found working with Jon to be a pleasure and I would highly recommend Jon and Tupelo Furniture and Design to anyone considering the purchase of furniture and custom cabinetry.

One has gotten used to the fact that with smaller projects (say, less than $500), one can usually expect secondary treatment as a client. For instance, I have had woodwork done in India, but was disappointed in the result and lack of personal attention I received.

That was not the case with Tupelo Furniture and Design.

I needed a specifically customised Chessboard to be hand-made to very exacting specifications, using top-notch quality woods (Rosewood, etc.), and it had to be properly and elegantly finished as well (both as a work of art, and as a practical unit.) Jon worked with me by e-mail to go over the fine details in pre-production, making excellent recommendations on design specs and finishing techniques.

What was delivered to me out in BC was the one-of-a-kind product that I had wished for, and that I could take pride in and show off to my Chess friends. It was beautifully finished and smooth to the touch; a joy to use! (It was even sent in a sturdily built wooden box, too!)

I would definitely return to Tupelo for any future projects as quality work in this day and age is almost a thing of the past, and when you find it, you make use of it.
